Piraeus Bank in Ukraine (the official name – joint stock company “Piraeus Bank ICB”) is a part of the international banking group Piraeus Bank Group. Headquartered in Athens, Greece, with around 12,3K employees, Piraeus Bank Group offers a full range of financial products and services to approximately 5.2 mn customers. Total assets of the Group amounted to €55,7 bn, net loans to €38,2 bn and customer deposits to €42,7 bn on September 30, 2018.

Piraeus Bank is today the leading Bank in Greece with 30% market share in terms of loans and deposits.

Piraeus Bank Group started operating in Ukraine in September 2007 after the acquisition of the International Commercial Bank (ICB). JSC “Piraeus Bank ICB” is the legal successor of International Commercial Bank. Regional network of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine covers Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Kharkiv and Cherkasy regions.

The assets of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine make mearly UAH 3 billion, deposits of individuals – UAH 1 billion, loan and investment portfolio – UAH 2 billion, the bank’s capital – UAH 2 billion.

The Bank is authorized by the Pension Fund of Ukraine to make payments of pensions and financial assistance. The Bank is a member of Fund of Guaranteeing the Deposits of Individuals and Forum of Leading International Financial institutions (FLIFI).

Since March 2009, Piraeus Bank maintains the highest rating of deposits reliability (score “5”) assigned by the rating agency Credit-Rating, that shows the bank’s capacity to timely and in full make payments on existing deposits. Since June 2008, the credit rating of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine is uaA (stable)according to the national scale.
