Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for the AR processes. He/She is responsibilities for AR payment processing, monitoring vendor compliance to written guidelines and follow up on payment exceptions to ensure prompt and accurate payment processing. The AR Supervisor interacts with customers, internal UPS teams, and external vendors to help resolve payment exceptions. This position is responsible for recommending and assisting with implementation of process efficiencies within their respective work groups.

Job description:

  • Monitor and support the team’s performance to ensure achieving departmental goals
  • Responsible for monitoring & reviewing of operation process quality and timelines
  • Motivate and foster teamwork
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in daily team’s tasks
  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Support team leaders in work prioritization and deadline conflicts
  • Regular reviews with manager on people development
  • Conducting Employee appraisal process
  • Manage employee work time (vacation, work time reports)
  • Financial control of the department costs
  • Focusing on standardization and harmonization of AR processes
  • Monitoring of team workload and performance vs agreed SLA, take corrective actions in case of need

  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Independent and result oriented
  • Ability to adapt to change in environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good MS Office skills: Particularly in Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
  • Fluent English
  • At least six months employment track at current position in UPS
  • AR and F&A knowledge is an added advantage
