Alpha Middle Office Specialist, Associate 1

Who we are looking for

We are looking for candidates who have interest and willingness to develop in financial services.

As Middle Office we are directly supporting our Clients (Investment Managers) by cooperating closely with brokers, custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping to support client investment decisions.

Middle Office team is a link between key market players: asset managers, brokers, custodians and backstage of financial market. We sit in its center where our role is to support clients’ investments across all phases of the trading cycle. In our Client’s portfolios you will see Forex Exchange, cash, equity, fixed income, money market and more.

What you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring SWIFT messaging system flow to custodians, clients and fund accountants
• Verifying trades against broker instructions and SWIFT dispatch in a timely manner
• Supporting resolution of queries by cooperating with internal teams and external parties worldwide
• Resolving trade discrepancies or other issues
• Ensuring that all trades are confirmed within predetermined timeframes and that all relevant deadlines are met
• Cooperating with brokers, custodians, fund accountants, various internal stakeholders and other third parties
• Preparing daily reports
• Escalating arising issues to senior Team members/ mangers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good English & communication Skills
• Multitasking skills, analytical and prioritization skills
• Ability to form effective working relationships with multiple parties – clients, business experts, IT and project team
