We’re looking for a Senior RtR & Statutory Accounting Specialist who’ll be responsible for coordinating of the Record to Report end to end process execution and driving the process improvements in cooperation with different Finance teams.

You’ll be part of the Signify Europe ARIC (Accounting, Reporting & Internal Controls Team) which is concentrated on driving the RTR processes across the European organizations and bringing the added value through improvements in the daily processes, moreover closely working with the accounting transactional team.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll be a part of the execution and compliance of all record to report processes, which include Month End Closure, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Trial Statement Review, Balance Sheet Review, and Journal Vouchers
• You’ll safeguard compliance with accounting standards and regulations Signify Accounting Principles, IFRS, local GAAP, local regulations, directives
• execute internal controls related to your domain in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure correct statutory reporting for European entities in scope.
• Establishes (local) policies & procedures for statutory accounting & reporting, including statutory accounts.
• Managing and producing the statutory financial information for the annual report and accounts.
• Coordinating statutory audits and engaging with external auditors.
• Work closely with the financial controller & IFRS/statutory accountant on the statutory filing process

Your Qualifications

• Finance background (Master’s degree minimum, ACCA or equivalent will be appreciated).
• You master in end-to-end finance and accounting processes and you are familiar with the Statutory processes
• You have at least 5 years of experience, ideally in a multinational and in a complex matrix organization.
• You have well-developed planning and organizational skills and met deadlines.
• You are an excellent communicator and able to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
• You have experience in working across multiple levels, functions, regions and third parties in a manner that will professionally represent the department.
• You have practical knowledge in the field of IFRS.
• You are fluent in English.
• SAP knowledge
