Overview

The Junior PMO Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) in the execution of project management tasks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to grow their career in project management and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
  • Monitor project progress and report on status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support project managers in managing project documentation, including project charters, risk registers, and change logs.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and report on project data to support decision-making and project performance monitoring.
  • Prepare regular status reports and dashboards for PMO and senior management.
  • Identify and analyze trends, risks, and issues in project performance and recommend corrective actions.

Process Improvement

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Support the development and implementation of project management best practices and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and propose solutions.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Analytics, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business analyst or a related role.
  • Project management experience

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
  • Detail-oriented with strong data analysis skills.
