Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP) in Kyiv, Ukraine

In anticipation of an Engineering Task Order from USAID/Ukraine, Amentum is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Deputy Program Manager (D/PM). This position will be responsible for managing Amentum’s A&E program on behalf of USAID.

This position is contingent upon Customer approval, funding, and position availability.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP) must represent the Program Manager in the PM’s absence and effectively and efficiently support the PM in fulfilling the PM’s duties. The degree must be from an accredited university in Ukraine, the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the PM with providing program leadership, management, and technical direction.

• Support the PM and USAID with developing program requirements and identifying expert support staff to help USAID achieve its objectives.

• Manage project staff and sub-contractors.

• Ensure design services meet appropriate design standards and norms and ensure that the construction management program aligns with local and international standards of practices.

• Full-time presence in Ukraine

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum educational requirement of a Bachelor of Science degree (Master’s preferred) in engineering, construction management, or a comparable discipline from an accredited university in Ukraine, the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

• Registered US Professional Engineer is preferred.

• At least 10 years of overall engineering program experience

• Fluent in written and spoken English required.

• Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian is desired.
