Within Finance, our Portfolio Management Reporting & Analysis (PMRA) team is a dynamic group that is responsible for all aspects of compensation reporting, forecasting, and analysis, including management of the monthly accounting accruals, expense and balance sheet reconciliations, firm-wide deferred compensation, reporting of key metrics, cash forecasting, and year-end bonus calculation for our Investment Professionals. Our team is constantly challenged to meet the growing size of the Firm and the complexity of the compensation paradigms and new business initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Calculate and reconcile contractual performance bonuses for all investment professionals for monthly accrual and year-end payment purposes, as well as weekly reporting requirements
- Create and manage analytical models and recurring reporting used by portfolio managers, business unit leaders, and senior management
- Present analytical findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to help drive action plans
- Manage ad-hoc requests to support the strategic goals of the business
- Identify and implement process improvements to minimize opportunities for error and to improve timeliness of deliverables
What’s required
- Minimum of 1-4 years of professional experience in a corporate finance and/or accounting environment
- BA or BS in finance, accounting, or mathematics
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to model and analyze sizeable amounts of data and work to identify opportunities for improvement
- Excellent attention to detail and a process-oriented approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial results and recommendations to senior management and to interact with colleagues across all levels of the organization
- A flexible and positive attitude to help drive change and build working relationships with our clients within Finance and throughout the firm
