Senior Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Senior Finance Partner to Global FD for above countries in scope

  • Managing one direct report

CBRE Finance Support

  • Managing month end activities, ensure correct UER/UBR/accruals are in place with CBRE monthly accounts (preparation, review & approval) for selected countries in scope

  • Assisting with setting up new sites as they come on board for this new contract and establishing finance reporting and best practises

  • Scrutinising costs and providing analysis to ensure the baseline costs are as accurate as possible

  • Flash/P&L reporting, review & analysis

  • Review the numbers with the site facility managers and coordinators

  • TWC management and improvement

  • Managing contract invoicing and drive prompt invoicing of completed work

  • Reconciliation of Labour, 3rd party costs

  • Reviewing open POs (cost accruals with local contract support) to develop a positive trend in closing this off.

  • Baseline budget preparation & communication

  • Provide of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations for serviced countries

  • Introduce & improve internal control / risk management

  • Process alignment, improvement & simplification

Client Finance Support

  • Finance business partner for facility managers and operations directors

  • FM Budget & Outlook/Forecast review & reporting

  • Process alignment, improvement & simplification

  • Attend to ad hoc enquiries & analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field.

  • Requires a minimum of six years related experience to include at least two years in a lead or supervisory capacity

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.

  • Ability to forecast and prepare budgets.

  • Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

  • Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired such as HFM Consolidation, PeopleSoft Financials and Cognos Planning.

  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues and work collaboratively with business partners, key employees, top management, and client groups on various projects.

  • Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines.

  • Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is helpful.
