2D Animator for ‘TheRichest’ YouTube channel

This position will operate on a freelance contract basis.

Valnet Inc. is looking for a creative remote 2D animator to produce high-quality blueprints/ infographic animations for our channel The Richest. Below are examples of the style we are looking for:

Here’s a little window into our company: We are a premiere online media publishing company. With a portfolio of many influential brands in a variety of verticals, Valnet leads the online publishing world. Our overarching goal: distribute editorial and video content to millions of viewers daily across our websites, YouTube Channels, and Social Media platforms.

On top of having a “go-getter” personality, we are looking for someone who has fresh ideas, and wants to learn and take on new challenges as needed. Valnet is always eager to work with innovative minds!

Responsibilities:

• Animating 5 minute videos from a script & Voice-Over that will be provided by our writing/V.O.A team;
• No storyboard will be provided. So it is up to the animator to creatively interpret the scenes into an engaging narrative;
• The finished animation should fit the creative style of The Richest. While being infused with the animators’ own creative decisions;
• Reasonable deadlines should be met. With an emphasis on communication in the production pipeline.

Skills:

• Proven animation and video editing skills;
• Skilled in After Effects or Blender 2D or Synfig or whichever 2D animation software you prefer;
• Skilled in Premiere Pro (for editing the animation)
• Experience in vector illustration + animation
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality;
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Proven ability to assist in the creation and revision of videos under tight deadlines;
• Sharp attention to detail.
