QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate.
- Must be proficient in English and one other language; preferably Russian
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English.
- Preferred knowledge/training of WIDA assessment and standards
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students,
staff members, parents and the community.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support as a translator for families and communities.
- Support delivery of ESL/Bilingual instruction for English Learners (EL)
- Support delivery of FPS elementary curriculum for both EL and mainstream students.
