EL Paraprofessional (Bilingual)

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate.
• Must be proficient in English and one other language; preferably Russian
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds, preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English.
• Preferred knowledge/training of WIDA assessment and standards
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students,

staff members, parents and the community.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Support as a translator for families and communities.
• Support delivery of ESL/Bilingual instruction for English Learners (EL)
• Support delivery of FPS elementary curriculum for both EL and mainstream students.
