Insurance Sales Representative

Looking for an awesome individual to join a great team here in South Etobicoke. We are a Desjardins Insurance Agency looking for you to help grow our business. We have a diverse team reflecting the multicultural face of the GTA.

We currently have an opening for a Canadian team member to serve that segment of our clientele. Ability to speak Ukranian/Polish/Spanish or another European language is an asset.

You must have strong sales abilities and enjoying dealing with customers. Due to Covid a large amount of time will be spent on the phone and computer. Strong computer skills is required. You need to be able to generate sales leads and be able to close sales. You will also be required to answer client’s questions professionally.

Responsibilities include the following:

-Establishing relationships with centres of influence eg real estate agents, car dealers etc

-Calling our clients to review their policies

-Cold calling to grow our business

-Answering client’s questions and questions from insurance company

-Taking payments

In order to start work in an Insurance Agency you will need to have your OTL or RIBO exams as this is a regulated industry. if you are amazing, we will help you get your OTL exams. Those who already have their OTL or RIBO exams are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
