The Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies at UC Santa Barbara invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach courses in the German and Slavic Studies Department for upcoming openings. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the needs of the department.
Applicants must possess a minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in an appropriate field and have a minimum of two years of language teaching experience in a college or university at the time of application. Native or near-native proficiency in Russian is required. Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, teaching statement, teaching evaluations, and contact information for 3 references.
