Our Client is a New York based FinTech company committed to revolutionizing fixed income analytics for customers in the trading and risk businesses. Leveraging 10 years of proprietary technology, our mission is to bring innovative disruption to the fixed income market. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our exciting work environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior team members to build state-of-the-art fixed income applications

• Participate in critical system implementation based technical requirements to build a scalable infrastructure

• Execute standard software development process and ensure system accuracy

• Enhance existing systems and implement fixes if required

• Document system design and update, if needed, throughout the development cycle

Skills

Must have

• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles including Virtual DOM, Data Binding, State & Props and React Lifecycle and has worked with React Middleware such as Flux, Saga or Redux

• Thorough knowledge of Typescript and JavaScript, HTML, CSS

• Demonstrate capabilities to connect to other REST API or storage system (SQL or NoSQL based)

• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git

• Demonstrate skill for performance optimization

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C#, SQL, Python programming languages, C++

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database Server

• Knowledge of Cloud Computing
