Job Setting/location:
Hybrid work setting. Part time work from home and part time onsite at our school campus office (30391 SE Hwy 211, Eagle Creek Oregon) about 30 mins from Portland. If hired, employees will need to confirm that their home environment has suitable space and privacy to support the needs of the position.
Training:
Initial training and team collaboration will support applicants’ learning process
Essential Qualifications:
Experience with the education process & eagerness to support students
Experience in the customer service environment
Excellent communication skills in all formats
Strong computer and overall technical skills
Productivity software (Google Apps / Microsoft Office)
Digital applications for office support / instructional support
Willingness to experiment with and learn new digital applications to incorporate into the EA role
Experience and strategies to make data informed decisions
Collaborative and have a team player mindset
Problem solving skills
Fun and positive attitude
Ability to motivate and engage with students and families
Driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check
Second language skills in Spanish or Russian preferred
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Communication with parents and students, log attendance, schedule assessments, monitor progress, conduct homeroom classes, goal setting and monitoring, work with the entire Summit faculty, and participate in new student orientations, forecasting, and classroom coverage.
Observe and discuss the progress of students with teachers and other professional staff to support personal program planning meetings (Student Intervention Team meetings)
Edit / correct transcripts, send out transcripts to students at trimester ends, and help students prepare and send out transcripts to colleges with applications.
Work with students on Academic Success Contracts
Participate in Open Houses, Transition Events, Enrichment supports, as needed
Candidates must have the ability to carry and load computers and assist delivery of school materials
