As a Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible to create analytical systems proposals for Liquid and Gas applications for petrochemical, refining, power, chemical and process applications. You will manage the timely and accurate delivery of medium size and complexity analytical system proposals based on customer specifications, in line with the sales strategy.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Proposal Engineers, Sales Lead, BDMs, Execution Team, suppliers, and customers.
  • Complete transparency, WFH, Win/Loss database and CRM accurately and on time.
  • Learn, understand and use existing database of implemented projects, price lists, suppliers and agreements for day-to-day activities.
  • Ask, supervise and expedite sub-supplier offers required by each specific MSS analytical proposal.
  • Assure good, regular communication and coordination with all collaborators of a proposal pursuit (sales offices, solution architect, PM, customer, internal/external teams, etc.).
  • Deliver proposals on time, with the right solution, accurate costs and at the right quality to ensure winning chances.
  • Design the technical solution for the specific customer application.
  • Create the P&ID and the electrical block diagram for the system.
  • Participate and/or assists at internal checkout and/or factory acceptance test (FAT) of systems.
  • Supervise and lead proposal results (cost calculation, word proposal, deviation list, sub-supplier offers, etc.)
  • Participate in customer calls/meetings, discussions, and negotiations.
  • Perform vital engineering calculations (dewpoint, lag time, heating, cooling, power load, wake frequency, etc.).
  • Provide technical specifications to suppliers for equipment/services as the need arises by customer inquiry.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Chemistry, Process Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience in a similar field. 
  • Proven experience with Analytical Products or Analytical System solutions within an engineering environment (proposal engineer, technical sales, application engineer, execution engineer etc).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on several objectives at the same time.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Relevant knowledge of process engineering and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge and experience of analytical system application.
