We are looking for a Procurement Expert for the project “TA to support the implementation of the Ukraine Recovery Programme (URP) in Ukraine”. He/she will be based in Kyiv.
The intended commencement date is October 2021 and the period of implementation will be 60 calendar months from the date of contract signature. Estimated number of man-days: 880. Place of work: Kyiv. Substantial travelling in Ukraine is foreseen.
The minimum requirements are:
Qualifications and Skills
At least University degree in engineering, economics, business administration or a field relevant to procurement;
At least working knowledge in English.
Working knowledge of Ukrainian would be an asset
General Professional Experience
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in procurement.
A minimum of 5 years experience in civil, municipal and social infrastructure projects or programmes funded by IFIs/International organisations.
At least 3 years working experience in the Eastern Partnership region or IPA countries
Specific Professional Experience
Procured at least 2 works contracts in at least one of the following fields: transport, rehabilitation of public buildings (hospitals, schools, social centers, etc.) water and sanitation and/or solid waste management
Experience in claims management and FIDIC conditions of contracts would be an asset;
Experience with at least 2 works contract procured through the Ukraine procurement system of Prozorro
