Luxoft is building up a new special purpose organization targeted at developing In-Vehicle Infotainment systems for the age of autonomously driving vehicles. How do people in cars spend their time? How do they interact with information and how do they best utilize the cars infrastructure in a future 2021? How to surpass all the benchmarks in automotive SW development. Responsibilities

As Platform System Architect you are responsible for providing technical leadership to automotive software projects. You are expected have depth of knowledge of niche technological areas which include knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks.
You would be responsible for defining and documenting architecture, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions to problems
You should provide technical leadership to project team to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.
Skills
Must have
-
Extensive working experience in HLOS/RTOS and low level drivers, bootloaders, software development and integration
Extensive experience in embedded software including Linux and RTOS/Real time operating system environments on an application level. Preferably QNX.
Knowledge of modern automotive hardware and software architectures.
Very strong know how of hypervisor and Inter Guest OS IPC/inter domain communication and protocol implementation with other sub systems.
Exposure to interoperating and integrating MCAL / AutoSAR.
Good understanding of SoC & MCU architectures
Good understanding of system testing, QA, performance optimization and release management
Experience with automotive embedded software development, including agile development processes, continuous integration environments.
Bachelors or Masters or PhD with 10+ years of Platform software architecture design, integration and development expertise
Leading / collaborating with multiple teams – Technical thought leadership
Very good problem solving and communication skills
Guiding/mentoring the technical team/developers
Nice to have

Experience in embedded software for application software components for vehicle features for Digital cockpit/infotainment / Instrument Clusters/HUD based on proprietary and AUTOSAR architectures.
Solid understanding of Functional safety standards such as ISO26262 ASIL.
Good understanding of Cyber Security standards such as SAE J3061 is a plus.
