This is a 12 week graduate seminar focusing on some key aspects of the USSR from 1924 until 1964 with a special focus on culture and sports.

Minimum qualifications and preferred qualifications (if any)
PhD in Russian/Soviet History with emphasis on the 20th century required; minimum 5 years university level teaching experience; proven expertise in the Stalin period
A brief description of the duties
Two hours weekly seminars with graduate students; regular consultation with students; office hours, design of syllabus, grading and evaluation as required
