Division Information
PACCAR Financial Services provides finance, lease and insurance services to dealers and customers in 15 countries including a portfolio of more than 150,000 trucks and trailers and total assets in excess of $9 billion. The group includes PACCAR Leasing, a major full-service truck leasing company in North America, with a fleet of over 25,000 vehicles.
This role will be based out of our Salt Lake City location, with the ideal candidate working from Salt Lake City, or remote from Washington, Utah, Nevada or Arizona.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Sell Paccar Financial Used Trucks to end customers while aiming to maximize resale values
Identify prospective customers, develop and execute strategies necessary to achieve goals
Prospect for sales opportunities via telephone, direct contact, and digital media
Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within assigned territory
Prospect for finance opportunities with each customer
Maintain contacts with customers in relation to their requirements; keep current on market and customer trends
Update customer management system of the used truck center
Check in trucks assigned to the used truck center
Inspect and appraise condition of used trucks proposed for trade
Update and sustain advertising platforms, provide assistance with design and submission
Miscellaneous tasks and duties as assigned, to support the goals and objectives of the used truck center
Ability to travel up to 20% if working from Salt Lake City, or up to 40% if working remotely
Travel to consist of calling on clients and spending time at the Salt Lake City, UT location
Short Description
Good communication skills, self-motivated, and persistent
Previous truck and/or equipment sales experience a plus
Financing and/or lending experience a plus
Knowledge of the US used truck market a plus (Regional and National markets)
Multi-Lingual skills a plus (Spanish, Punjabi, Hindi, Russian, Asian languages)
BA/BS degree preferred
Computer literate, MS Office
