High school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in the Russian language and a thorough understanding of Russian culture. A native Russian speaker is preferred. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama is preferred.

These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
Instructs Russian language training sessions for beginning and intermediate classes; schedules training sessions with students in consultation with the Program Director; practices the spoken language with students; reviews textbook exercises; works with an external examiner for the midterm and final oral and written exams; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.
