Required Credentials & Experience:
Fluent English (4 domains)
Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or current valid Work Permit
Minimum two years experience working with secondary students
Minimum two years post-secondary guidance counselling experience
University degree in education, psychology or related field.
Desirable Skills:
Worksafe BC Occupational First-Aid (OFA) Level 3, or equivalent
Second language fluency (Russian, Farsi, Vietnamese)
Familiarity with Pearson’s Powerschool Pro
Familiarity with myBlueprint

SGM General Duties
The Student Guidance Manager position at MLWS-TRU is a position that requires the incumbent to board on campus, in close proximity to students. SGMs are dedicated and engaged in the school community. Their general duties include:
