Courses will be delivered asynchronously through the University’s learning management system. Course content (lectures, readings, rubrics and submission links) has already been created. Instructor responsibilities entail providing students with feedback, answering their course-related questions, and grading their assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a master’s degree in Translation or a closely related field. For our translation practice courses, applicants must demonstrate native or near-native fluency in English as well as in one or more of the following languages: Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Russian, or Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:
Professional experience in the language industry. Prior teaching experience, ideally online.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
