City of Woodburn is looking for an Administrative Specialist to provide clerical support to the Public Works Department, location assignments may include the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Streets, Water, Fleet Services and Engineering. Duties are varied, including reception, filing and basic document production; developing and maintaining general office systems and procedures; organizing data and generating standardized reports; creating and submitting purchase orders and invoices as directed.
If you are a self-motivated professional, with strong organizational and administrative skills, are detailed oriented and able to work independently, this may be a good job for you.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, and minimum three (3) years of experience in general clerical/reception work involving public contact in person and providing administrative support, or an equivalent combination of training and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Other Requirements:
Valid Oregon class C driver’s license and the ability to meet the City of Woodburn’s driving standards
Must pass the pre-employment background check
Employees may be required to apply/retain Notary Commissions after appointment and assist with notarizing documents depending on assignment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Russian
