Essential Job Functions:
DATA ENTRY: Daily processing in admission database. Other records maintenance duties may include scanning, copying, filing and reporting.
PHONE/SKYPE OPERATIONS: Alert and notify staff of guest arrivals and any special needs. Quickly respond to the immediate needs of calls coming in and route to the appropriate person on campus.
ADMISSION VISITS AND EVENTS: Assist with customer service, scheduling and contact related duties involving campus visitors and also assist with set-up for new student registrations. Communicate with prospective students and their families, as well as campus personnel, via phone, text and email messages to plan successful campus visits and events. Create a holistic visit experience for future Bethel graduates to experience the campus community. Pay attention to trends in higher education visit experiences.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Greet and assist campus guests (both scheduled and walk-in visitors) and provide information regarding campus visits, application process, academic and extracurricular programs at Bethel, and local area attractions, as well as directing guests to other offices on campus.
KNOWLEDGE BASE: Stay abreast of campus and community news, specifically in regards to questions visitors may have.
STUDENT WORKERS: Assist in managing student workers.
SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT: Will encourage the spiritual growth, development and care for self and colleagues.

In recent years, Bethel saw the strongest series of financial ratios in 25 years (as defined by the U.S. Department of Education), increased admissions visits by 60% and applications by 20%, doubled the number of fully online students and saw surges in programs like Math-Engineering (+24%), Christian Ministries (+53%), Biology (+118%), Kinesiology/Pre-Physical Therapy/Sport Management (+177%), and total Graduate Program increases of +47%.
