Enhancement and support of the member portal that provides services for external clients in financial area. UI is integrated with Oracle Web Center Sites.
Our Client is the administrator of the Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP), a defined benefit pension plan, with 90,000 members – current, retired and deferred – and oversees the investment of $28.1 billion of net assets (“Fund”) that fund the benefits under the Plan.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop UIs, building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use;
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code;
• Write unit and integration tests to validate their code;
• Integrate with web testing services for functional testing;
• Develop and release using agile methodologies;
• Lead by example with work ethic and ownership of results;
• Participate in architectural and design discussions to build a shared context
• Minimum 50% EST time zone coverage required

Skills

Must have

• 3+ years of experience in software development overall;
• 3+ years of experience with UI and front-end web programming;
• Solid experience with Typescript and Angular framework;
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
• Familiar working with RESTful APIs;
• Good knowledge of UI unit testing;
• Good understanding and previous usage of modern front-end build and CI/CD tools;
• Familiarity with Git code versioning tool;
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment;
• Self-motivated, independent and a good communicator.
