A Growing Logistics company is looking for a Billing Clerk/Accounting Assistant to join our team. Excellent email correspondence, communication, organizational skills and attention to detail is vital for this position. This position is entry level and training will be provided for the right candidate. A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team atmosphere is required.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review freight bills and bills of lading.
- Scan various documents needed for invoicing customers.
- Research and process proofs of delivery for customers.
- Scan and index paperwork with a strong attention to detail.
- Data entry.
- Review all records associated with bills to ensure accuracy.
- Function well in a fast-paced team setting.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/CRITICAL SKILLS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office experience and ability to learn new software systems
- Excellent computer, filing, secretarial, administrative, time management, and telephone skills
- Work independently or team, with and without direct supervision
- Russian/Ukranian speaking is a plus
