Background
As part of this effort, UNOPS has delivered in 2019-2020 CT Scanners and X-ray machines to hospitals in Ukraine under the umbrella of the Ministry of Defence.
The CT Scanner is (Canon, TSX-303B/1C Aquilion Prime SP ) and the X-ray device is (Canon, DREXZX80/E6, ZEXIRA)
While some training in the use of the equipment was provided by the supplier which has delivered the devices, the medical personnel at all hospitals has provided feedback requesting more advanced clinical training, as all the devices are highly complex and the medical personnel cannot fully capitalize on all the capacity of the equipment, with their current knowledge and training.
Objective
The aim of this exercise is to upgrade the knowledge and training of the medical personnel to a level where they can fully utilize the capacity of the devices and to become proficient in the following applications and operations: principles of volumetric and helical acquisition, protocol and parameter manipulation, image processing and workflows for basic and advanced imaging studies
Qualifications of successful supplier
Qualification requirements for the company (organization).
Potential bidder/company/ organization, should have experience in :
- -performing medical staff training for using CT Scanner
- – Performing installation and utilization of Canon, TSX-303B/1C Aquilion Prime SP ) and the X-ray device i (Canon, DREXZX80/E6, ZEXIRA)
- -To have registration for minimum 5 year
- To have at least two application specialist /engineers licenced by manufacturer Canon Medical Systems
- -To have licence to work with source of X-ray radiation
- To have at least five carried out trainings for medical staff for CT diagnostic and utilization.
Qualification requirements for the trainer(s).
Required staff for training: minimum one application specialist with a minimum of work experience in educating medical staff and working with scanners and computed tomography for at least 3 years, authorized by the manufacturer or authorized by a representative of Canon Medical Systems.
One Professor of Radiology – medical doctor, or Medical doctor Specialist in radiology and CT diagnostic with working experience of more than 10 years in CT diagnostics
