Position Summary:
Position responsible for coordinating the Contact Center staff and its functions, including but not limited to, telephone activities, patient triage, appointment scheduling, and patient mini- registration, using the Nextgen system. This position serves as an example of excellent customer service to patients.
Your contribution to the team includes:
Responsible for the Contact Center day to day operations.
Provides mid-level medical triaging to the schedulers.
Coordinates staff, providing direction and guidance creating a team environment.
Organizes and coordinates workflow to assure that outstanding quality of service is provided to all patients.
Responsible for recruitment, performance management, employee relations, recognition and assuring that all staff receives appropriate orientation and training for their positions before independently scheduling patients.
Maintain effective communication among the back office staff and providers at the clinical sites in order to meet patient scheduling needs.
Facilitate Contact Center staff meetings.
Participate with the various health centers plans for meeting managed care utilization and productivity goals.
Oversees the schedules of staff, attendance, vacation approval and time cards.
Maintains good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.
Demonstrates respectful, professional and appropriate behavior that supports a team oriented work environment.
Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, core values and goals of HealthPoint and its healthcare delivery including the ability to integrate values of integrity, wisdom, creativity, cooperation, responsibility and respect into appropriate programs and services.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Must have’s you’ll need to be successful:
AAS or AAST degree desirable
Minimum of (5) five years of triage and scheduling experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Innovative thinking is required as well as the ability to evaluate and use formal analytical, planning and process methods to develop strategies and action plans.
Ability to write routine correspondence such as letter and memos
Ability to present information and speak effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
Leadership skills and Bi-Lingual in Spanish, Russian or Korean desirable.
Proof of immunity to varicella, measles, mumps and rubella is a condition of employment. Prospective employees must provide proof at time of offer.
