Project Description

Project overview :
Leading German OEM is developing the Infotainment Cockpit Computer (ICC) also known as One Infotainment for existing car platforms i.e.,to replace the existing Infotainment systems for it’s car line.
The ICC is the interior, multimedia, navigation, cockpit and car/traffic information high performance computer.
It also aims to achieve the hardware software separation to enable reuse.

Scope project :
Luxoft collaborates intimately with SoC vendor, HW vendor and SW Integrator to deliver the PDK incorporating components and tools for:a
DSP – Audio framework
RT Linux/SYS Partition
Android IVI Partition
Secure OS
Initial Firmware Update
Hypervisor configuration
Luxoft manages and implements writing and execution of automation test scripts, integration test cases, and error log collection
Luxoft plans, coordinates and implements Kernel and security patches update according to the strategy
Luxoft to support integration plan and report current status in a transparent manner to the customer

Responsibilities

Technologies:
– C/C++ for embedded,
– RTOS, embedded CPU/DSP,
– Ethernet, Sound buses, Inter process communication methodic
Experience with:
– Linux/qnx kernel level driver implementation,
especially with audio processing.
– ALSA configuration
– Android HAL configuration

General skills:
Proven experience in programming of complex solutions.
Good understating of project life cycle approaches and methodologies.
Understanding of software quality factors.
Estimate, plan and organize own work

General duties:
Independent implementation of complex requirements and contributing primarily to more complex SAD/SDD, development and maintenance of SW unit, problem fixing and review, documentation creation.
Acts as mentor for less experience developers.
Participate in technical discussions.
