Global Enrollment Counselors promote all admission pathways for prospective graduate and undergraduate international students into the Main Campus in Tucson and any location in the University of Arizona’s Worldwide Microcampus Network. Duties & Responsibilities
Organizes and participates in communications and marketing to promote the institution to high schools and prospective students.
Counsels and advises prospective students and parents on educational planning, financial aid, enrollment services and admissions process.
Reviews and evaluates admissions applications.
Serves as a liaison and primary contact between applicants and the institution.
Conducts information sessions and orientations for prospective and admitted students.
Assist with the evaluation of transfer student recruitment activities to ensure that the services and opportunities offered through transfer programs reflect the institution’s mission and commitment to the quality of undergraduate education
Searches on a consistent basis for new and unique opportunities for student interaction and engagement
Performs pre-evaluation of transcripts for admission purposes, interviews, advises, and communicates with prospective transfer students regarding academic and curricular issues
Responds to inquiries from prospective transfer students, freshmen, and other constituents regarding the admission process and procedures, the transferability of credit and related academic information
Maintains records documenting advising discussions and recommendations related to prospective freshman and transfer students
Designs, recommends, and executes short and long-term strategies to achieve recruitment goals within their territory
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Three years’ experience in sales, marketing, or lead generation
Fluency in a second language
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting international students
Familiarity with Constituent Relationship Management Systems
Fluency in Spanish, Urdu, Russian, French, or Mandarin.
