Job Description:
Responsible for creating, building and maintaining relationships with College of Engineering & Computer Science, donors, faculty, staff, and friends. Responsible for the management and coordination of advancement-related events for the college.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Management of a part-time coordinator position to facilitate a nation-wide computer programming camp hosted by UCF
Works with the dean’s and development office of the college and with the college’s student organizations to coordinate special events
Provide event management leadership and coordination of development and college events and dean’s advisory council
Supports frontline fundraisers by implementing stewardship strategies for individual prospects and providing concierge-level service to some of the college’s major and principal-level prospects.
Serves on the Women in STEM @ UCF Committee, dedicated to making UCF a leading women’s serving institution.
Oversees bookings, contract negotiations and the cost of activities/events for college and donor events and all college and donor activities
Secures sponsorships and in-kind gifts for college and donor activities/events, as necessary
Assists om developing marketing and promotional programs and advertising media for college and donor activities/events
Updates and maintains development office pages on all electronic media & writes and edits college alumni and donor publications
Contacts various organizations and individuals concerning services available for ceremonial functions and other special events
Facilitates annual fund programs needs, including, but not limited to: senior class gifts, alumni class gifts.
Develop special collateral materials for the Dean and Board members (PowerPoint, multimedia, etc.) to support 5 % presentation and partnership requests to industry and federal partners.

Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with ability to work nights and weekends and travel, as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Able to work frequent early mornings, nights, and weekends.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
Effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the university.
High energy level.
