- 4+ years of front end development experience with JS, jQuery, etc.;
- Experience with JavaScript libraries / frameworks: Vue.js;
- Experience with HTML5 and CSS3;
- Excellent branching, merging conflict resolving skill at SVN / Git (we’re using both);
- Experience with large scale single-page web applications;
- Experience with RESTful APIs;
- Passionate about user experience design and enhancing the UI to help improve usability;
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issue and ways to work around such issues;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle, knowledge of Continuous Integration is required;
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience required;
- English – Upper intermediate.
- De-couple JavaScript / HTML / CSS from JSP;
- Develop new user-facing features;
- Enhance and refactor existing user interfaces;
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use;
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs;
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability;
- Validate user input before submission to backend services;
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders;
- Understand the full stack implementation, including Java code for backend services;
- Mentor teammates and participate in design and code reviews;
- Team is looking for at least 1 – 1.5 year commitment to the project.
- Experience with unit testing libraries such as Mocha and Jasmine.
