Duties
The incumbent ensures smooth and efficient operation of the International Education office and independently handles/organizes day-to-day activities including the following: international student applications and assessment of international documents; collects, compiles and researches information/data; prepares a variety of documents, maintains files and databases; assists other office staff with special projects. Provides a full range of front-line customer services as the first point of contact for international applicants, students and other office visitors. Provides office support services and coordination of a variety of International Education functions and responds to general, regulatory, and detailed inquiries from international students and agencies regarding programs and services.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
2-year Diploma in a Business field of study or Office Administration (or equivalent).
Three years of recent and relevant experience in an office environment, preferably in a post-secondary environment with exposure to the admissions process and international students.
Experience with and proficiency using computerized systems including Microsoft Office Suite of products, customer information systems and experience updating websites would be an asset.
Experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven, customer service environment requiring high levels of English proficiency in speaking, reading, listening, and writing.
Other Required Qualifications:
Intermediate level software application skills, in particular Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Ability to communicate in a language such as Spanish, Hindi, Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin or Russian is an asset, with Hindi preferred.
Must be customer service oriented with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Formal training in international credential assessment is considered an asset.
The ability to prioritize work and multi-task while maintaining deadlines.
Able to work well in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
The ability to research, analyze and assess data with a high level of attention to detail.
Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to work from a remote location with reliable internet access and adhere to the college’s telework policy, as required.

Support Group: Pay Band “F”
Hours per week: 35
Start Range: $27.65 – $32.06 / hour
