Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and executing the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Technology Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, positioning, messaging, and content to win and grow ISV and Technology partnerships with IBM. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, engineering, and customer success, to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing GTM plans for cross-industry ISV Solutions, across Hybrid Cloud, Data & AI, Automation, Security and Sustainability.

You will:

– Execute GTM plans for ISVs, which include identifying joint solutions and developing joint messaging, use cases, digital and social initiatives, web content, blogs, customer references, events, sales enablement, and other activities to integrate ISVs in IBM marketing plans.

– Establish ongoing trusted relationships with ISV partners for the adoption of IBM Technology.

– Implement GTM plans to recruit and onboard strategic ISV partners

– Drive execution of key projects to integrate the ISV partners in IBM strategy

This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times peer week

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in product marketing, ecosystem, or product management roles
  • Strong understanding of the ecosystem
  • Passion for technology and what it can do; eager to help others benefit from what’s possible
  • Experience working on a cross-functional team, working alongside product marketing and offering teams to shape the technology roadmap and ensure a partner-focused approach

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • B2B partner marketing experience, having first-hand experience and a track record of successfully developing marketing strategy and programs
  • Experimentative – working quickly to pilot, succeed/fail fast and scale what works
  • Highly collaborative – able to represent ecosystem in meetings and discussions, building effective teaming relationships within ecosystem marketing and with other marketing and business areas
