Job Description – Civil Supervisor
Wind Farm Project, Romania
Position: Civil Supervisor
Location: various locations (Romania)
Type: Fixed-term – Project duration
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all civil works including foundation excavation, concrete pouring, and structural installations for wind turbine bases
- Monitor construction quality, material compliance, and adherence to technical specifications and design drawings
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution
- Conduct daily site inspections and prepare progress reports; track schedule and budget performance
- Manage surveying activities, setting out, and dimensional verification of structures
- Ensure compliance with Romanian building codes and Bureau Veritas technical standards
- Document all construction activities, test results, and quality assurance records
- Identify and resolve technical issues; coordinate with design team on change orders
- Liaise with local authorities and project stakeholders on civil construction matters
Requirements
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in renewable energy or large infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with construction management software and surveying tools
- Strong knowledge of Romanian civil engineering regulations and international standards
- Excellent communication skills (English/Romanian fluency)
- Availability for permanent on-site placement
