Description and Requirements

We are a hands-on DevOps group supporting both on-prem and cloud environments for our flagship product – Xclarity One, a unified, hybrid cloud-based Management-as-a-Service platform for managing Lenovo infrastructure (servers, edge devices, etc.).

We focus on reliability, security, and developer productivity, with stronger documentation, clear ownership, and mature practices across infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows across environments.
• Manage containerised infrastructure, orchestration platforms, and cloud provisioning using infrastructure-as-code.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to ensure reliability.
• Strengthen security and access controls throughout build and runtime, embedding DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to improve delivery speed and developer productivity.
• Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and support release planning and platform improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Solid experience with CI/CD systems and artifact registries; build server maintenance is a plus.
• Proficiency with containers and Kubernetes in major cloud providers; adaptable to on-prem environments.
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
• Practical knowledge of monitoring stacks and alerting integrations.
• Understanding of cloud identity, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
• Experience troubleshooting across the stack and writing clear documentation.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with GitOps tooling (e.g., ArgoCD) and on-prem deployment patterns.
• Experience with DORA metrics and reliability KPIs.
• Contributions to CI/CD or runtime security and compliance.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud governance best practices.
