Looking for a DWH Developer / Database Developer for a database migration and monitoring engagement for a Formula One team.

Responsibilities

Setup new production database monitoring across our on prem estate using open source tools (to replace Datadog which we are not renewing)

Migrate our databases currently running on Kubernetes (PostgreSQL + MongoDB) to AWS and/or on prem servers

Develop and enforce database development standards, guidelines, and best practices

Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Lead the design and implementation of data models, database schemas, and data integration solutions

Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database architectures, processes, and procedures

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior database administrators and developers

Provide peer review on all DB modifications (Schema, Data, SPROCs, Execution Plans, etc.)

Participate in Emergency Remediation

Proactive identification and resolution of DB issues concerning performance, scale, data integrity

Requirements

SQL Server Expert (5 years+)

MongoDB

PostgreSQL

AWS

Always On Availability Groups

Extensive experience in setting up monitoring/alerting services
