Automation of cloud resource deployment using Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi/Bicep)

Integration of services like Azure ML, Databricks, OpenAI, AI Search, and Power BI/Fabric

Fine-grained access control using Entra ID, Managed Identities, and Service Principals

Full support for multi-environment compliance, secure networking, and cost transparency

This acts as the core delivery backbone for AI-driven innovation, enabling rapid onboarding, operational consistency, and secure collaboration across teams.

Requirements

Take end-to-end ownership of the provisioning and deployment architecture for workspaces, APIs, identities, and compliance workflows across a big data platform. Ensure secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure aligned with german OEM standards.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead architecture and deployment of the Provisioning Service (EPS): core logic for onboarding, provisioning, and workspace management.

Design and implement secure connectivity and infrastructure for ADLS (Azure Data Lake Storage) and non-ADLS storage modules, ensuring proper policy enforcement.

Establish baseline and tailored build guidelines for workspace environments using Pulumi (Python) and/or Bicep.

Secure and govern APIs through Kong Gateway, including certificate management, routing, and load balancing.

Collaborate on DesOps pipelines, driving fully automated CI/CD flows and infrastructure changes.

Govern access via Managed Identity, Service Principals, and secret rotation via the Service Principal API.

Define the Service Principal Concept, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and permission boundaries.

Manage third-party tool integration pipelines such as Coverity and BlackDuck for vulnerability scanning.

Drive compliance, observability, and lifecycle automation across Sub+ API, CorpdirAgg, and other internal tools.

Whitelisting & Role Assignment: API-level design and deployment for access management services

Collaborate with other agile product teams in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and actively contribute to workshops, communities of practice, and other sessions as a representative of the team

Requirements

6+ years in cloud architecture with strong experience in Azure environments

Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi or Bicep) and CI/CD

Familiarity with API gateways, provisioning systems, and enterprise access governance

Able to lead architectural governance, compliance, and lifecycle management of complex cloud environments

Experience in multi-team platform enablement and infrastructure reuse
