This is a critical leadership role where you will:
- Build a high-performing finance team from the ground up
- Design and implement robust financial processes aligned with corporate standards
- Ensure compliance, governance, and transparency in all financial activities
- Partner with leadership to deliver accurate insights that support operational and strategic decision-making
Establish & Lead the Finance Function :
- Recruit, develop, and lead the finance team, ensuring strong capability across accounting, FP&A, and compliance.
- Build financial systems, policies, and procedures in alignment with SCOR’s global requirements.
Financial Operations & Reporting :
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets).
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and branch-level financial planning.
- Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS/GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and adherence to local financial regulations.
Performance Management & Business Partnering :
- Drive financial analysis to identify cost efficiencies and performance improvements.
- Partner with operational and functional leaders to optimize resources and evaluate business cases.
- Lead branch-level cost control and cash management.
Governance & Compliance :
- Oversee internal controls, audit readiness, and risk management practices.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, banks, and corporate finance teams.
You are a finance leader with the vision and capability to build a function from scratch while delivering operational excellence in a global environment.
Experience & Expertise :
- At least 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven success in setting up or scaling financial operations in a multinational or Shared Services environment
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local statutory requirements
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite preferred)
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Business-fluent in English (written and spoken)
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (required)
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA (mandatory)
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) in Finance or Business Administration (desirable)
