You will be part of a centralized Planning team within Health Systems Europe Market. You are responsible to build and enrich the business forecast for the Europe region organization. The market demand planner Europe will ensure there is one aligned long-term plan for order intake, demand, sales, and inventories, which serves as input into the S&OP and S&OE processes.

You are responsible for:

  • Build/enrich an aligned long-term plan for order intake, demand, sales, and inventories, by creating a data-driven baseline forecast and enriching it with all relevant inputs from Sales, Customers, Customer project managers, Supply/Operations, Marketing, Finance, and adjacent functions.

  • Support the regional business leader, in creating a solid long-term plan.

  • Review and analyze historical demand and sales trends, prepare forecast analytics, and evaluate forecast results.

  • Lead conversations with relevant counterparts, propose forecast adjustments, and challenge assumptions underpinning input.

  • Support all relevant functions in creating and communicating gap-closing scenarios.

  • Support all relevant functions in preparing, planning, communicating, and revising forecasts for Demand Review meetings. Adjust the forecast based on meeting outputs.

  • Make sure that the plan is signed off by the regional business leaders.

  • Contribute to the planning tool transformation program to implement a new integrated planning solution.

  • KPI’s: forecast mix accuracy % (wMAPE), forecast accuracy % (BIAS), Inventory, OTIF, AI adoption.

You are a part of

You are part of the European HS planning team and will report directly to the HS Planning Leader Europe. Together with our colleagues within the planning team, you contribute to building the total forecast for the European market. 

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • You have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Management).

  • 5 years of experience in a supply chain role and project management

  • Proven experience with implementation of new systems/tools/reports.

  • Bringing and leading people together and aligning them around common goals. Result oriented.

  • Problem Solving skills. Able to find solutions to difficult or complex issues. As a LEAN Leader drives continuous improvement via applying LEAN methodology.

  • Analytical skills, data-driven approach, and ability to build and maintain predictive models in Excel.

  • Getting things done mentality, ability to cope with changes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Ideally in-depth experience in the Health Systems industry is preferred.
