Senior QA Automation Engineer (UI)

Location: Warsaw

Work Model: Remote (with visits once a month in Warsaw office and planning 2-3 days per quarter)

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented QA Engineer experienced with developing, maintaining, and executing automated test suites for UI, REST APIs, and backend microservices. This role focuses on building and maintaining automated tests for UI, APIs, and backend services. It involves designing test plans, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with developers in Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for UI, REST APIs, and backend microservices.
• Build functional, regression, performance, and E2E tests (Playwright, Cypress, Jasmine, JUnit, TestNG).
• Design and manage test plans, scenarios, and test data for complex workflows.
• Debug and test within Docker/Kubernetes environments.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab).
• Collaborate with Developers and DevOps in Agile sprints.

Requirements

• 6+ years in QA automation.
• TypeScript / JavaScript – strong hands-on coding skills (must-have).
• UI Automation: Playwright or Cypress (primary focus).
• API Automation: Java or JS frameworks (Jasmine, JUnit, TestNG).
• SQL / RDBMS proficiency.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and shell scripting.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services (payments, banking)
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
