Business Unit Overview:

EMEA Wealth is a key client business within BlackRock in EMEA, responsible for the strategy and distribution of the breadth and depth of BlackRock’s platform and products. The EMEA Wealth team is dedicated to representing our Index capabilities to EMEA clients and our full investment offering to Wealth clients.

The EMEA Wealth COO team is responsible for driving commercial impact through the ongoing enhancement of business metrics, delivery of technology solutions across the client businesses & accelerating business alignment across partner groups.

Job Purpose/Background:

We are seeking a strong junior talent to join the Budapest-based Sales Support pillar of the EMEA Wealth COO, to deliver highly efficient and value-added support to Sales to help them achieve firmwide growth targets and commercial success. Our new Italian speaking team member will support our Italian Sales team in the management of their daily activities and in ensuring an excellent client experience.

The Sales Support team focuses on customized client analysis and reports, tailored client specific materials, organization of webinars, managing follow-ups, and working in close co-operation with Relationship Managers to understand the needs of our clients and the sales teams that serve them. The position requires strong communication and internal-team work qualities, as it will be dependent on sourcing in a fast and complete manner information from sales and specialist teams. Precision, attention to detail and a good understanding of the asset management industry are a requirement in order to provide accurate and meaningful material to internal stakeholders and ensure effective business analysis. This position will give you immense exposure and will afford the chance to learn about the financial industry across the Index and Active product suites, with significant growth potential and scope to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct interactions with clients to answer queries and work with functional teams within BlackRock to provide best-in-class service to the sales teams and indirectly to clients

  • Part of a team responsible for managing the country mailboxes, responding to individual and institutional queries covering our alpha and index offerings

  • Assist the team in producing client intelligence and updates, and aiding the team’s response to ad hoc queries in a timely and professional manner

  • Support regarding client due diligence requests in collaboration with the other Sales Support teams

  • Involvement in any projects which support the business development of the team, including the creation, formatting or automation of custom reports, including monthly/quarterly reports of Italian sub-advised mandates

  • Liaising with product specialist teams to help the Sales Support team in answering client queries, perform analysis and provide additional information

  • Assisting relationship managers by coordinating post meeting follow ups e.g. working with business partners to provide additional information on funds, running analysis

  • Creating content and presentations for relationship managers to use in client meetings and obtaining compliance and business approval

  • Liaising with automation & reporting team to improve processes, build efficiencies and increase quality standards for tailor-made reporting

  • Responsible to ensure that all regulatory and legal requirements and standards are met, including achieving MIFID II Information Provider status

Skills/Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, previous experience in Financial Services is a plus

  • Interest in financial markets and eagerness to learn and broaden understanding

  • Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English

  • Fluency in Italian is a must

  • Advanced Windows-based software skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Must be comfortable interacting with clients and stakeholders across the firm

  • Passion for excellence, significant initiative and attention to detail

  • Strongly outcome oriented and flexible to stay ahead of client needs
