Diebold Nixdorf’s Global Audit department has an opening for a Senior Internal Auditor with an opportunity to work via a hybrid model (part time in office, part time remote) in Warsaw, Poland. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and progressive internal function. Our mission is to enhance operational excellence and protect organizational value by providing: 

advice and insight as a trusted advisor to the organization; and independent, objective assurance on the company’s risk management, control activities and financial reporting integrity. As the Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of detailed audit procedures over various risk-based audits and management request projects, providing guidance to other team members and resources, and supporting the continuous monitoring activities. You will report to the Manager, Global Audit, and will work together with an Auditor, both based in the US. 

• Leads audit engagements in pursuit of achieving Global Audit’s strategic and operational objectives
• Provides ongoing guidance to the Auditor, external resources, and internal stakeholders
• Assists with execution of a broad range of audit activities, including but not limited to:
• Cross-organizational business risk assessments,
• End to end execution of risk-based audits and management requests,
• Providing assurance, consulting services and practical solutions to help business unit leaders accomplish the company’s key strategic objectives
• Prepares detailed scoping and workplans for audit activities by understanding the specific issues to be evaluated
• Ensures consistent implementation of Global Audit department policies
• Executes audits by conducting process walkthroughs, analyzing data, performing testing and reporting findings
• Identifies gaps and recommends systems and control improvements to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and risk management
• Conducts follow-up with issue owners to ensure appropriate remediation of audit findings 
• Assists with investigations stemming from the whistleblower hotline, as needed
• Administers continuous monitoring program

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or other Business degree
• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Internal Audit
• Proficient in business English (Written and spoken)
• 1+ years of audit oversight experience
• Ability to travel up to 20%, if needed
