TRANSPORT & COMPOUND MANAGER AUTOMOTIVE Craiova

YOUR ROLE

Related to the development of our Automotive Transport (2PL) department in Craiova, CEVA Logistics Romania is currently looking for a Transport & Compound Manager Automotive.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Manage the stock of vehicles received/delivered in the CEVA compound in Craiova.
• Receives the vehicles unloaded from the trucks by the drivers.
• Draws up damage assessment reports, if applicable.
• Build up the lots/FTL and assist the documents preparation for trucks/trains.
• Pre-advise the concerned third parties about the movement of the cars.
• Hand over to the truck drivers the vehicles to be loaded, together with the related documents.
• Performs quality checks/audits of the loading of the trucks or trains.
• Registers the entry/exit of vehicles and the corresponding transports in the IT system;
• Manages a fleet of up to 10 trucks / car transporters.
• Monitors the activity of the drivers, including the route and kilometres.
• Plan the repairs and maintenance of the trucks.
• Takes care of obtaining the necessary documents for the operation of the activity in good conditions.
• Checks, registers and archives the documents handed over by the driver.
• Calculates the expenses and revenues generated by the transport activity.
• Perform the checking of the expense invoices related to the transport activity.
• Issue periodic reports to management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in transport or the automotive industry.
• Previous experience in working with truck drivers (driving times, expense reports, attendance, etc.);
• Very good level of English verbally and written.
• Confident knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email programs, transport IT systems.
• Integrity, strong analytical skills, attention to details, adaptability, reactivity, very good communication skills.
