Inviting applications for the role of Web Operations – Senior Manager – English

The Senior Web Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, maintenance, and optimization of Genpact.com. This role involves hands on AEM foundation experience to ensure our websites are user-friendly, optimized for search engines, and aligned with our business goals, while also pushing forward innovative web solutions. This role will play an integral part in the website refresh and replat form from Craft CMS to Adobe AEM foundation taking place through 2024 into 2025.

Responsibilities

• CMS Platform Management:
• Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of Genpact.com, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Help steer the replat form and refresh of Genpact.COM from Craft to AEM CMS.
• Manage AEM templates, components, workflows, folder structure, and other system configurations to meet business needs.
• Direct technical resources as required to integrate the website CMS platform with other systems and tools, including CRM, analytics platforms, and third-party applications.
• Content Management:

o Partner with Content Marketing to develop and implement a content strategy aligned to Genpact’s brand positioning and business goals.

o Establish and enforce content processes and governance, ensuring consistency and compliance with brand guidelines.

o Oversee all content publishing/authoring via the CMS platform in alignment with brand

o Provide training and support to content authors and stakeholders on AEM best practices and features as we complete CMS migration.

• User Experience and Optimization:

o Utilize Google Analytics, VWO (heatmaps) and other tools to monitor site performance and user behavior, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

o Partner with the SEO Leader to implement SEO best practices, including optimizing page structures, metadata, and content for search engine visibility.

o Ensure that all web pages and components adhere to UX/UI best practices, providing a seamless and engaging user experience.

• Project Management:

o Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all operational web projects, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to meet deadlines and budgets.

o Manage relationships with website developers and third parties, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.

o Oversee QA processes to ensure that all web updates and enhancements are thoroughly tested and free of issues before going live.

• Technical Oversight & Security:

o Manage the technical aspects of the website, including hosting, domain management, and integrations with other systems or APIs.

o Ensuring the Website architecture is robust, scalable, and secure, while also overseeing integrations, performance optimization, and staying updated with emerging web technologies to maintain the site’s competitiveness and functionality

o Stay abreast of emerging and trends in web development processes

o Ensure websites comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including data protection (like GDPR) and standards (like WCAG).

o Oversee website security protocols to protect against cyber threats, ensure site architecture is robust.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven record of accomplishment of managing large-scale web projects from conception through to completion.
• Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM Forms
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), Adobe, Craft CMS
• Proficient in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills with experience in leading complex web projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues within the AEM environment.
• Proven in managing large-scale web projects.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools
• Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, VWO etc.).
