The position

As our new Financial Controller, you will be partnering to management team, middle management, CDC (Clinical Development Center) and sales force based on data analysis and interpretation as well as thorough business understanding – both from financial and commercial perspective. You will be offering analytical support and generating valuable insights with special focus on CDC Business Unit (Clinical Development Center). You will be also involved and contribute to value adding activities even if out of regular scope, improvement of overall business understanding.

In this role, you will report to Director, Finance & Operations for Poland region.

Your key accountabilities will be:

• Provide full scale business support to CDC Business Unit including budgeting, reporting & controlling activities.
• Provide business insights to ensure best use of CDC allocated resources.
• Support in budget process – input collection, sales & cost forecasting, consolidation, preparation of final submission, input to systems.
• Preparation of cost analysis including CDC and whole affiliate and provide support in sales analysis for major NN therapeutical areas.
• Drive data analysis and understanding across Sales Team, providing training on analysis of results, support in making conclusions, assisting FMSs in identification of focus areas.

Qualifications

As a Financial Controller you need to have business understanding and very good analytical skills. You need to be proactive and accountable as well as you need to be able to manage multiple tasks, stakeholders and show complicated things in an understandable way to influence people and business decisions.

To be effective in this role, it is mandatory to have:

• A bachelor’s / master’s degree education with economic background.
• Min. 3 years of relevant experience.
• Very good knowledge of Excel, knowledge of Power Point, financial acumen.
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in Polish is preffered.

On a personal level you should have strong analytical skills as well as communication and time management skills. You should have ability to cooperate well with other people.

About the Department

You will join the Operations & Finance department that is providing multidimensional support in Financial Delivery & Business Analytics for all business units to drive excellence across the organization.
