As an open source intelligence analyst, you use your specialized functional and technical skills and military experience to support an Army Intelligence team in providing your client the actionable intelligence and detailed reports they need. As an open source analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand their operational landscape and mission environment and provide supported commands with comprehensive Information Operations products to support full spectrum Information Environment operations. You’ll conduct detailed analysis and planning support using all-source and geospatial intelligence in support of Information Operations requirements as you build assessments for the Army. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to provides social, behavioral, cultural, and linguistic expertise to enhance the supported commanders’ planning and intelligence capabilities. As an authority on your team, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. You Have:
8+ years of experience with conducting Open Source Intelligence analysis
Experience with current information, tools, and methodologies in the intelligence field
Experience with Analyst Notebook, Palantir, classified databases, Intelink, and other Open Source Information Systems
Knowledge of intelligence community (IC) and DoD classification guidelines and procedures
Ability to demonstrate fluency in reading, writing, and speaking through an Interagency Language Roundtable (IRL) Language Skill Level or Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) rating of 3 or higher in listening, reading, and speaking for one or more of the following languages: Arabic, Russian, Farsi, or French
Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in multiple formats, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to lead teams in researching multi-faceted or critical problems
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
2+ years of experience with supporting Information Operations
Experience with recognizing and analyzing information that affects military operations, national policies, and objectives
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
