Project Description

The project has been evolving for several years already, and now is in the phase of re-design for the better user experience and new features adding. Our customer is a leader on automotive market.
Project specifics:
– The basic idea of the project: user can access the “Testing System” remotely by the known URL and operate it through our GUI, which is opened in Chrome browser.
– The technologies stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS, HTTPS, WebSocket, TCP, UDP, D-Bus, WebRTC.
– Team locations: Kyiv (UA), Odessa (UA), Detroit (USA)

Responsibilities

• Support all testing activities throughout software development lifecycle
• Participate in task planning, risks evaluation, estimation processes
• Learn products, processes, technology, and apply that knowledge in a productive manner to ensure quality testing of new software releases and support in diagnostics of site issues
• Execute test cases and update test documentation;
• Review test failures and determine the sources of problems (test deficiencies, deviation from requirements, etc.)
• Work with bug tracking system to record, trace and drive to resolution defects and issues discovered
• Support development team in issues reproduction and root cause analysis

Skills

Must have

• Knowledge of Software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of Testing theory
• Understanding of test design approaches and testing types

Nice to have

• Unix based OS user
• Experience in work with hardware
• JIRA and TestRail usage
