Summary
Missional University is looking for a strategic partnership development exec to work in Zone 2: Europe. S(he) must have a track record of opening new doors and closing deals. The role leads a global team in developing, managing, and closing highly strategic partnerships with Christian faith-based organizations to provide missional training. This person will be responsible for the full lifecycle of these partners from the initial introduction through nurturing the relationship and closing partnership deals.
The Online University Partner Recruitment Mgr will weave collaborative relations with strategic evangelical organizations that enable Missional University to effectively fulfill its mission and specific objectives. He/she will identify and nurture such relations focusing primarily on funding, program development, and communications among partner organizations.

Responsibilities and Duties
The Online University Partner Recruitment Mgr is responsible for leading a Missional Partnership Team that develops and implements the annual partnership strategy among one of the following types of evangelical organizations across Zone 2: mission entities, non-profits & NGOs, for-profit business-as-mission organizations, churches and church groups.
The ideal candidate has experience in partnership development or recruitment in an evangelical Christian faith-based organization or in a business context with excellent interpersonal communication and public relation skills. The ideal candidate has a background in managing CRM and team functions including designing and improving funnel communication strategies utilizing automated marketing technologies.
The position calls for establishing a Zone 2 Global Partnership Team at MU and overseeing worldwide university partner acquisition and management. This means the ideal candidate will have entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial experience – with the knowledge and experience of creating systems and processes and sharing and delegating implementation to a team.
The ideal candidate will work online, must be fluent in English, and have a stable internet connection.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited seminary or university
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible partnership development, marketing or recruitment experience
- At least 5 years of experience in opening new doors and closing deals in some form of sales
- At least 5 years of experience managing and supervising teams
- At least 3 years in an entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial role with proven capabilities of innovation and development
- Ability to think creatively, collaboratively and strategically
- Ability to relate interculturally to ethnically diverse backgrounds globally
- A vibrant Christian testimony
- Practical missions experience in his/her own country of origin or beyond
- Agreement with the faith and ethos statements of the Missional University
- Passionate about the mission, vision and core values of the Missional University
