CACI is looking for an Open Source Intelligence Analyst to conduct open source production based on sources and information available from public, private, and U.S. and foreign government open source materials, within established security protocols. This position involves the analysis of foreign and domestic-based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address defense intelligence requirements. The successful candidate will be able to research multi-lingual general media (newspapers, services, etc.), regional media and reports (English and non-English), data from websites, electronic databases (free and subscription), interviews, company reports (conference pamphlets, annual reports, etc.), Government documents (testimony, reports, commission studies, etc.), scientific literature, and declassified and/or leaked information in support of SOUTHCOM’s Intelligence mission.
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will apply your significant Intelligence Community expertise and strong analytic/organizational skills to produce open source reports from unevaluated/raw data.
You will Identify open source methodologies to illuminate and further identify potential targetable nodes.
You will routinely collaborate across the Intelligence Community and USSOUTHCOM directorates with all stakeholders in support of multiple analytic efforts.
Coordinate/collaborate with POL/MIL, Cyber and Countering Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC), Threat Finance analysts in support of Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs).
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
3+ years of experience in OSINT research and production
Expert knowledge and experience with Internet-based research of publicly available information (PAI), including academic literature, professional publications, digital media outlets, blogs, databases, videos, images, maps, and social media platforms.
Expert knowledge and experience with OSINT tradecraft, processes, operational security, and tools in the conduct of open source research.
Excellent writing skills and demonstrated ability to incorporate multiple sources into a single product, as well as to communicate and present outcomes to leadership.
Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other intelligence disciplines to produce OSINT products or to support production of all-source intelligence deliverables.
Knowledge of politics, foreign policy, military, and trending threats within the subject area.
Ability to assess and provide recommendations on emerging OSINT methodologies and tools.
Ability to conduct research in at least one of the following foreign languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Farsi, Chinese (Mandarin), or Arabic.
Capable to manage multiple, concurrent projects and meet fast-paced deadlines while working independently and in a team.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 7+ years of experience, or a MA/MS with at least 5 years of experience
Highly Desirable: BA, BS, MA, or MS degree in Political Science, International Affairs, Foreign Area Studies, or National Security.
Completion of a formal Government OSINT Training course such as OS301/OS302, Cyber Advanced Support Operations, or IC equivalent (DIA OS1, FBI OS101)
Prior training in signals intelligence, human intelligence, and geospatial intelligence
Knowledge of intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analytical tools and databases.
